We had such a wonderful time we are planning a paddleboat tour from New Orleans to Memphis. The lecture or did such a fine job of telling us some history of New Orleans that we never knew before. It was fascinating. It made me want to go back and read some history books to learn more. I would recommend this trip for anyone or family.

Overall a great experience. The narrator, Charles, was great. We learned a lot. However it felt rushed at the battle site. By the time we listened to the narration of the battle, we only had about 10 minutes to peruse the museum before rushing back to the boat. Needed another 20-30 minutes there in our opinion.

Couldn’t leave New Orleans without a ride on a paddle wheeler. The battlefield stop was OK. There was a medical emergency when we got back on the boat that caused a one hour delay, but we were able to cool off in the air conditioned lounge.
