Before heading on to Coba, stop at a cenote, an underground sinkhole created by limestone erosion and filled with pristine water. After a refreshing dip, travel to a local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy Yucatanean specialties, including quesadillas and salad. Sip water, soda or beer with your meal. After lunch, depart Tulum for Coba.

Watch out...

The driver was late, then after an hour on our way, they told us we are not going to Coba (The place we booked the trip for) driver said "Oh no, Coba is closed, they didn't tell you when you booked the trip, they did it again! ". Also for unknown reason the plan here said we are going on mayan beach, but instead we went to "Chocolate factory" (Which is a souvenir shop the driver takes commission to stop by).. Beside that the whole trip was a waste of time and had nothing todo with the trip we booked, the representative on whatsapp didn't offer us any solution and instead stopped replying... We were unable to end trip as the driver only told us the news after one hour (in the middle of nowhere), and we were not given any solution/option. Later we booked same trip with another agency and requested refund on viator. they refunded partial refund of $20 USD from our $140 USD lost trip that we had to pay for again for another company the same week.

Long but fun

The guide was knowledgeable. The down side is that we got picked up from our hotel and then dropped off at a pharmacy to get checked in. The wait there was long and the process was unorganized. The vehicle could have been newer. Cons was closed so the price should have been adjusted as we did not see that site.

Fascinating Mayans

Mayan history was fascinating. Our guide was very informative. Only criticism is that trip details did not tip to bring a towel for cenote swim.

Mario was a wonderful driver and guide. We also loved stopping at the private Cenote and appreciated Enrique. The cliff jumping and zip lines are a must. Ended with a quick visit to Tulum. Great day

This tour was so cool and informative! Our Guide Zeferini was really cool. My Fiancé said he reminded him of his uncle so he had a very warm and welcoming vibe.

Long day of exploring

Overall the experience was interesting but everything felt rushed. The trip is actually 14 hours, not 12. Every stop was rushed and we didn't get to shop or spend much time at any stop. The guides were excellent, the bus was lovely. The buffet was authentic but you didnt eat until 3 pm and that too felt rushed. Coba was closed for renovations.

It's okay

It has potential to be a great trip with the right tour guide and communication but this company had neither. Our pick up was messed up and a nightmare. We were waiting since 630 for a 710 pick up that didn't arrive until almost 8. We could've had breakfast at the hotel we were at. What's worse is I called the services 4x, once the week before, then a night before to confirm pick up, then at 7am since all of our other tours were very punctual I was worried, she assured me at the latest it would be 720. Then called once more at 730 and they said they would be there at 745. When the driver got here he said that this wasn't his normal route and was told we were forgotten by the other driver. Once we got to the meeting point we still waited another hour for our tour guide and a driver to be assigned to the group. Finally left for the Ruins about 920am. If I would've known, I would skip that hassle and meet them in Tulum to start the tour there. We also only had like 40 min in Tulum which is not enough time to explore that city. The Coba Ruins are down for maintenance for over a week now and with no date of when they will open again. This was not told to us until we after we arrived at the first stop in Tulum Ruins. We visited another archeological site called Mutil which was nice and not crowded but I really was looking forward to being able to go to the one castle you can climb. I got some great pictures and few tid bits of history, just wish over the 10 hrs we were with our guide it would have been more enlightening. We had to pry historical information from him by continously asking questions. Food was good, careful of green habanero sauce. The Cenote was pretty and refreshing. I liked the bonus in the end that showed a glass making workshop and how cocoa is made into chocolate. Overall it was a so so trip. I am glad to have seen the archeological sites but might choose a different tour group next time. I paid more for this trip than the Chichen Itza 4x1 and that one was superb.

Very long trip with long waits all day long.

A very long day, at least 16 hours its not 10 hours. We didn’t go to Coba so the description needs to updated. The driver returning us to hotel was racing driving 130km/hr on a 70km/hr. If you don’t know Spanish you will barely understand anything as the guides spoke Spanish 95% of the time.

Tulum Coba trip

First, the pickup was late by 15 minutes and we were never informed. Next we waited for 1 hour for the tour bus to come. They provided lunch only by 4 pm and the lunch was awful. They had 4 destinations to cover which was bit too much and lastly they dropped us back at the hotel by 11 pm. Overall not satisfied. Recommend to provide lunch after 1st visit and have the tour start early by 8 am instead of 9:15 am and have max of 3 destinations.
